Hans Poppe, a Tanzanian-Canadian artist, is celebrated for his vivid and culturally rich depictions that honor his heritage. His artwork masterfully combines traditional painting methods with contemporary influences, frequently featuring intricate Tanzanian fabric patterns.
Poppe's exhibition is a highlight of YPBC's 2025 Black Heritage events.
Gallery Hours:
Sunday: 10:00 am - 11:00 am and 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm
Saturday: Noon - 3 :00 pm
