CONTACT photographer Peter Alberti - Asian Travels: China and Beyond (1987-2012). Peter Alberti has taken his medical skills and his skill with a camera into Asia, especially China. His images over the years include rice paddies, deserts, lakes, mountain passes, temples and bazaars. A common thread is the tough, resilient people he encountered, both young and old. Their relationships with the living environment tell stories of generations of adaptability and survival.

This show is a participant in the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival. In galleries across Toronto, 34 selected exhibitions present a wide range of works by Canadian and international artists.
