Capturing Light

Atmospheric effects of light and weather are the unifying theme of Purdon’s seascapes, landscapes and cityscapes. Respected teacher, award-winner and artist-in-residence for Winsor and Newton in Ontario, Purdon is fluent in the techniques of watercolour, acrylic and oil. He is primarily known for his oils of sea and sky.
