From Camera to Cosmology

Using Photoshop, photographer Henry Regehr has playfully reimagined and created new perspectives of his own work. This exhibition is a selection of works by the artist at play. These "Photo-Graphics" and playful recreations encourage the viewer to also join the imaginative play that such images generate.

As images tell stories Regehr has chosen to see these works as representing creation stories from various peoples and cultures. Representing the high drama of our universe, you may join him in seeing galaxies, super-novas, black holes and even the "Big Bang", or bursting atoms and delicate flowers: creation continually at work. Such narratives both illuminate and enliven the graphics while the graphics, in turn, enliven the stories.
