Annual Business Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Business Meeting will be held in via Zoom and telephone on Monday, February 22nd, 2021 at 7:00pm.

Copies of the minutes of the January 25, 2021 Special Business Meeting are available in a digital copy here. If you would like a hard copy, please contact the Church office.

Take note that the 2020 Annual Report as well as the 2021 Budget Narrative will be presented. A digital copy of both reports are available. If you would like a hard copy, please contact the Church office.

The 2019 Financial statements will also be available. Please contact the church office for a copy.

The Board of Finance and Administration and The Board of Deacons will ask the members:

1. To accept the Audited Consolidated Yorkminster Park Baptist Church Financial Statements for the year ended December 31st, 2019 as prepared by Grant Thornton, Chartered Professional Accountants.

2. To authorize and direct the Trustees to disburse from the Endowment Fund an amount not to exceed $45,000 for the capital projects that were approved by the Board of Finance and Administration as set out in the 2020 Capital Repairs Budget.

3. To approve the 2021 General Fund (including Mission revenues and expenses) Budget with an Operation deficit of $37,953.

4. To authorize and direct the Trustees to disburse from the Endowment Fund an amount not to exceed the cumulative amount of $43,000 for the Social Media, Online Planning, Hardware & Website Rebuild Initiative.

5. To authorize and direct the Trustees to disburse from the Endowment Fund an amount not to exceed the cumulative amount of $20,000 as provided in the Proposed Budget for 2021 as the Boards Discretionary account; and an amount not to exceed the cumulative amount of $5,000 as provided in the Proposed Budget for 2021 as the Deacons Discretionary account.
